How to pack video games & consoles for shipping

1.

Consoles must be double-boxed for safe transit. Place the console (wrapped in 2" bubble) in a snug inner box, then put that box inside a larger outer box with 2" of cushioning on all sides.

2.

For PS5 specifically, the 20x14x10 size accommodates the console with controllers and cables. Remove the disc before shipping — loose discs inside a console during transit can scratch themselves and damage the drive.

3.

Retro cartridges (SNES, N64, NES) should be wrapped in anti-static bags before bubble wrap. Static discharge can damage ROM chips.

4.

Game cases ship identically to DVDs/Blu-rays. A corrugated media mailer is cheaper and more protective than a bubble mailer for 1-2 cases.
