How to pack dvds & blu-ray for shipping
Wrap each DVD case in stretch wrap or a poly bag to prevent water damage — disc cases are not waterproof.
For single DVDs, a purpose-built cardboard DVD mailer (variable-depth corrugated wrap) is cheaper and more protective than a bubble mailer.
Pad box sets with crumpled kraft paper to prevent shifting. Disc cases crack at the hinge when they rattle.
Ship USPS Media Mail ($3-4 for most DVDs) to save on postage — DVDs qualify as long as there are no ads or non-media inserts in the package.
