Cheapest Stretch Wrap Film — Hand & Machine Rolls
Stretch wrap (also called shrink wrap or pallet wrap) secures items to pallets, bundles multiple boxes together, and protects surfaces from scuffs during transit. Hand rolls (12-20" wide) are for manual wrapping of individual pallets or product bundles. Machine rolls (20-30" wide) feed through a stretch wrapper for high-volume operations. Gauge (thickness) matters: 60 gauge is economy, 80 gauge is standard, and 120 gauge is heavy-duty.

Buying tips
80 gauge hand roll at 18"×1500' is the standard starting point. One roll wraps about 15-20 pallets or 50+ box bundles.
Pre-stretch film costs more per roll but uses 30-40% less material per wrap. If you wrap daily, it pays for itself quickly.
Mini stretch wrap (5" wide with a handle) is perfect for bundling 2-3 small boxes together or wrapping individual items. Keep one at every packing station.
Store stretch wrap at room temperature. Cold film becomes brittle and tears easily; warm film gets sticky and hard to unroll.
